Faces don't read the label. Someone who squints at a laptop all day may frown harder than the 20 units were sized for. Someone else wants to keep a little lift in her brows and asks for fewer. Meg watches you frown, lift your brows and squint, then picks the units. She says the total out loud before the first injection.
How much does forehead Botox cost?
On the FDA label, forehead lines are treated together with frown lines: 20 units in each, 40 units in all. At $14 a unit that is $560, or $520 for members. Add crow's feet and the label total is 64 units, which comes to $896.
Why Are Dysport and Xeomin Cheaper per Unit?
Dysport and Xeomin are $13 a unit, $1 under Botox. That dollar can disappear once you count units.
The Botox Cosmetic label says its units cannot be compared to, or converted into, units of any other botulinum toxin product. So a Dysport treatment of your frown lines uses its own unit count, not Botox's. Dysport often takes more units per area, since it spreads further from where it is placed. That is why we don't print a per-area table for Dysport or Xeomin. Meg will give you a total for the product you pick before you commit.
Daxxify costs the same as Botox, $14 a unit. Its draw is time between visits. Most neuromodulator results last about 3 to 4 months, according to the American Academy of Dermatology. Daxxify can last up to about 6 months, so some patients come in fewer times a year.
How Does the $100 Consultation Work?
Your first neuromodulator visit is a 30-minute, $100 consultation. The full $100 is credited toward the Botox, Dysport, Xeomin or Daxxify you book. It is not an extra fee stacked on top.
- • You pay $100 at the consultation, and it comes off your treatment total.
- • First purchases have a 30-unit minimum.
- • If frown lines are your only area, the label dose is 20 units, so a first visit is billed at the 30-unit minimum: $420 for Botox.
- • Members get free consultations.
Do Members Pay Less for Botox?
Yes. All three memberships take $1 off every unit of Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Daxxify. Silver is $105 a month, Gold is $175 and Platinum is $225.
The monthly fee is not spent on the membership itself. Each month it lands in your Nurture Bank, and you spend it on treatments or products whenever you like. The funds never expire, and you can combine them with Alle and Aspire points. Memberships need a 3-month commitment and 30 days' notice to cancel.
Here's a worked example. Say you treat frown lines and crow's feet together, 44 units at the label dose. That is $616 a visit at the standard price and $572 as a member. Member pricing does not apply to specials, coupons, sales, promotions or model pricing.
What Changes the Price of Your Botox?
- • How many areas you treat. Each area adds units.
- • How strong the muscle is. A stronger muscle can need a bigger dose.
- • Which product you choose. Prices and unit counts differ by brand.
- • Whether it is your first purchase. The 30-unit minimum applies.
- • Whether you are a member. Members save $1 on every unit.
Who Gives Botox at Nurture Wellness?
Every neuromodulator treatment here is given by a board-certified nurse practitioner, at the practice led by owner Meg Anguiano, FNP. Meg has been a nurse since 2013 and works only in medical aesthetics. Colorado gives nurse practitioners full practice authority, according to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Meg reviews your health history and examines the area before she suggests a dose. Nothing on this page is a promised result.
